My Role & Responsibilities
As an SAP Functional Consultant, I work closely with business users and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. My responsibilities include requirement analysis, functional configuration, preparing functional specifications, testing, validating system functionality, and supporting business users.
I am also involved in preparing and executing test cases, analyzing issues, coordinating with technical teams for enhancements and fixes, conducting user demonstrations, reviewing deliverables, and maintaining project documentation. Through these activities, I focus on ensuring that the solutions delivered meet business requirements and provide a reliable and efficient user experience.
Future Vision
Looking ahead, I want to deepen my SAP functional and business-process knowledge and gain greater exposure to complex implementations and end-to-end project activities. I aim to take on more responsibilities, strengthen my problem-solving and consulting skills, and contribute to delivering SAP solutions that create meaningful value for both customers and the business.
A Real Day in My Life
9:00 AM – Review emails, new assignments, and plan priorities for the day
9:30 AM – Review project updates, pending issues, and action items
10:00 AM – Discuss business requirements and project progress with the team
10:30 AM – Work on SAP functional activities, configuration, or requirement analysis
11:00 AM – Attend client or business-user calls to discuss requirements and issues
12:00 PM – Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, or project documentation
1:00 PM – Lunch
2:00 PM – Execute functional testing, validate results, and coordinate with technical teams
3:30 PM – Analyze issues, review fixes, and perform retesting where required
4:30 PM – Conduct user demos or discuss solution outcomes with stakeholders
5:00 PM – Update project documentation, deliverables, and task status
