What matters most in life is fulfillment
Mid-Career | Director, Executive Officer & Division Manager
IT Consultant
Shinichiro Kawakatsu

Why Joined HISSYO
In my previous role, I was involved in company management as Vice President. In May 2025, I was appointed as a Director of VE‑TRI (Japan),
which shares the same founder as HISSYO (India), and in November of the same year, I assumed the role of Director at HISSYO.
The reason I chose a new path was my strong conviction that a company should not merely be an organization that pursues sales and profits, but rather a place where people share common values and grow together.
I came to believe that such an environment is what truly matters.
The journey that led me to this realization was by no means smooth. However, today I find great fulfillment in my day-to-day work at VE‑TRI and HISSYO, where I feel a genuine sense of purpose and challenge.
While my compensation is lower than in my previous position, the true reason behind my decision to change jobs was my belief that the most important things in life are not “stability” or “income,”
but whether there is an environment and a role that allow one to live authentically and lead a fulfilling life.
VE‑TRI and HISSYO are the very places that provided the answer to that question.
Workplace Environment
HISSYO is located in the suburbs of southern India, where a group of highly motivated and promising young professionals work diligently every day.
Through HISSYO and VE‑TRI, we provide system development and operational services for Japanese customers.
Employees who study Japanese and achieve a certain proficiency level are offered opportunities to work in Japan.
This environment—where people work together with mutual respect and support, transcending differences in language and culture—continually provides me with new inspiration and learning.
Although India and Japan are geographically distant, we stay connected through web conferences to celebrate shared events such as company anniversaries.
I look forward to the day when we can connect offices around the world and celebrate our founding day together as one global team.

Looking ahead, we aim to further grow our trade and global business consulting services. Our vision is to become a bridge—connecting people and companies across countries and cultures, fostering collaboration and mutual growth.
In a world where conflict still persists, I’m driven by a desire to contribute, even in small ways, to building a more peaceful and connected global society. That aspiration is what fuels my motivation and gives deep meaning to the work I do every day.
